| This has me giggling some. I don't think it's Aragorn, for I can't believe Elrond's fosterling would remain ignorant of the names of the plants, and there was no real time for some helpful servant to write off to those on the way from Imladris to get the names of her favorite flowers. Denethor and Finduilas, perhaps? Somehow that seems right in character, or so it seems to me! Poor bridegroom--nervous and hasn't a clue! Author Reply: Good guess! It is most definitely Denethor, and his manservant Mormegil. I tried to find a way to list the characters individually for this drabble (as they are listed in the MEFA story details) but finally gave up; it is fun to make people guess. I'm very glad you enjoyed this story! (Some mentioned to me that my LiveJournal format was not compatible with her browser; that's why the sudden flood MEFA nominated stories here.) | |
