| I love this.... it has ever been apparent to me that Frodo did not quite see what a treasure he had in Sam before the Quest began. I remember his amazement at something Sam had sung or known (can't remember what now - but Frodo was surprised!) Thanks for sharing this! Author Reply: Exactly -- there are tons of slash fics where Frodo and Sam were soulmates from their first meeting, but canon doesn't support it. Not that canon ever stopped anybody... | |
