Vivid imagery! You imagine Boromir's thoughts very well; I love the memory of Faramir's rebuke, and how true it rang in the present circumstance. Author Reply: Bless you. I love the vivid imagery line.

Ah, definitely movie-verse and well done! Redeemed indeed. And hope is still with them with these two embodiments of it. Author Reply: It's funny about hope and LOTR - many times it seems that the theme is hope but even Faramir, when he's talking to Frodo at HA, states that Gondor has had a 'springless autumn.' Very glad you liked this 'movie moment,' I don't write them often.

(Another sundering crash; there is little left to the rock that holds the King of Gondor and the Hope of Middle-earth. ) I love that line! Author Reply: Thanks, GW. It was certainly a tense moment.

As tense as the scene it comes from! Dear Boromir, bless him! Author Reply: Thanks, Pearl. I don't write much movie verse, but this scene is one of my favorites....

A wonderful insight into Boromir's thoughts and feelings. And I love this last line: these hands catch the little one and I am redeemed Author Reply: Dearest Boromir. I loved that scene - it just keeps going over and over in my mind and the Muse doesn't seem to want to leave it alone either. Thank you for your kind words. High praise from a favorite, esteemed author!
