I absolutely love how you write Éowyn. She shines! She is so fierce and steadfast and strong. I loved to see her through Legolas' eyes. And you described Legolas' grief so well. Very touching!

I really loved your three stories of the horror of Helm's Deep and its effect on the three characters.I felt you intertwined the stories beautifully. I felt the love that Aragorn's friends felt for him and was pleased that you allowed Arwen to bring him some comfort.

Thank you for these sad and beautiful tales.

Mmm. Wow. What can I say; there was some powerful stuff here. I have a rather odi et amo opinion of this one; I absolutely loved some parts, and certain others were, of course, rather rough. I find fault with none of it, though. Very insightful!

What a great follow-up and finish. Legolas' encounter with Eowyn was priceless. In that one exchange, they become a sounding board for each other and find comfort. Lovely moment, especially when Legolas lifts Eowyn from her bow with his gentle reproof. What a noble elf he is. It is wonderful how you breached his walls enabling him to not only receive but dispense compassion to a fellow sufferor.

Then, on the heels of that wonderful scene, the next morning Aragorn's eyes are burning with renewed courage. Our heros are battered but not broken, and infinitely bettered for all that lies ahead.

Wonderfully wrought tale, joannawrites. Thank you.
