I shivered at Isildur's Bane! As Faramir must have. I loved the 'dance.' Very nicely put. And a very nice, though sad drabble. At least, sad for Frodo - I wonder if he secretly wished that Faramir would keep him, send him to the city. Ah, but very good for Middle-earth. Author Reply: I always thought that, at least once Faramir finally had all the facts, he had a lot of sympathy and respect for Frodo, and was sad to have to let him go on into darkness.

Faramir sees clearly, doesn't he? Another who sees Frodo's light. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Yes, that's probably what he meant when he said Frodo had an elvish air.

Excellent--and sparing himself the fate of his brother in that one moment of choice. Wonderful evaluations of these two odd wanderers. Author Reply: Faramir has always been a favorite of mine -- book Faramir, that is.

he plays this dance of words well and wisely Nicely put. This is a great POV. Author Reply: Thanks -- that was how I always imagined Faramir felt during that conversation with Frodo.
