| Good but I would have liked a wee bit more, it ends too abruptly. You describe the energy of the event wonderfully!! Author Reply: Oh Pearl - it ended too quickly for the brothers, too! I think, even if Denethor had not interrupted, they would not have begun again. Perhaps they would have egged on another of their comrads. | Oh, Denethor, don't push competition where it's been given over! A wonderful, delightful incident to contemplate, the brothers Hurin dancing together! Heh! Author Reply: I so loved this scene. In the midst of the horror that is Gondor in these days, it is a blessing to take a moment to rejoice in life. Denethor learned competition, I think, while Thorongil was living at Minas Tirith. You can't blame the man. | |
