| Well that's a scary description of her future husband. The hood and velvet mask did it for me. What a terrifying prospect. Author Reply: First, thank you for reading. Keep going--I promise it'll get better! As for the mask, keep in mind that *no one* knows who he really is. Most people believe that the Nazgul died with Sauron at the end of the Second Age. Of course, the Istari know better. Gandalf et al are certain that there is a Nazgul in Dol Guldur, but no one connects the Witch-King with the Nazgul Lord until the fall of Angmar in TA 1975. So as far as Ariashal knows, she's being sent off to marry a powerful, wealthy sorcerer-king. | |
