| OMG!! That's was absolutely BRILIANT!! I almost screamed when Thranduil, Oropher, and Legolas were all fighting toward the end and everyone was ganging up on Thranduil! I totally did not see the ending coming at all. This was amazing!! I wish I had found this story eariler! Very, very well done!! Author Reply: Thank you so much, Ivy-Green. | I know what you mean about plot bunnies who turn up late! I loved this tale - with Thranduil, Oropher and Legolas, what's not to like? I like the twist and darkness of Oropher's fate - I can see this happening, and Thranduil being forced into action through love. It was heart-wrenching to see him being forced to consider the same coup-de-grace for his son, though I'd begun to guess that his dilemma wasn't quite what it seemed. Jay | |
