| Oh, how sad! Poor Pippin, to have to go on without Merry! I do hope that his other friends will rally around him--Aragorn, Faramir, Legolas and Gimli. I like the way you had Merry having a premonition--I think he is every bit as likely to have them as Pippin is! Poor Pip! Author Reply: Thanks, DF! I do feel that Merry would be just as prone to foresight, since he's just as much Took as Pippin is. Pippin is lucky to be surrounded by friends at a time like this. | |

| Seems that Merry had a bit of fore-warning this time and managed to get his thoughts in order before he went on. I do feel very sad for Pippin here. Very well written. Author Reply: Thank you, GW! I have always thought that Merry would have just as much of the foresight as Pip, since they are both half-Took. And I believe that Merry would want to make sure Pip was alright before he passed on. | OMG that's so sad!! Isn't it so hard to write when one of them die? I've been writing a story for about a couple of months called "Death is for Nightmares" where Merry is killed in a nightmare.....by Pippin. It's so hard to write when one of them die or gets killed. Like I wrote a story called "Losing You" it's about Merry losing Pippin when they are much older but I can't bring myself to finish the fricken story! | *sobs* Oh that is a really sad beginning. It is good written and I like it, but it is sad. Death is at the moment a very present topic for me. Just today I was at a funeral. And this year will very probably follow some more of those. *sigh* Anyway, looking forward to the next Chapter, even if it makes me crying. Author Reply: Thank you, Golden. I'm sorry it made you cry! I hope to end it in an uplifting manner, but unfortunately , death is a fact of life. I've had to deal with it myself. Stay tuned :) | |
