| Realizing Halbarad was now dead indeed must have torn at Aragorn. And then to have to go on and heal others and deal with folks as he did--it must have both torn further at him and aided him to heal the quicker, that he not see all he'd come to care for deeply follow after his kinsman. Author Reply: I imagine it to be very hard for Aragorn - he's saved so many lives but couldn't save one of those that were most dear to him. But sometimes doing what has to be sone is the only way to go on. Thanks for commenting. | |
