| I think the dream images are even more vivid than I remember them from my earlier reading of this chapter, Cathleen. Poor Pippin, trying to deal with that kind of prescient dream. Balrog, Denethor's hands withering in the flames, and looking into the Palantir all seem to be represented here, as well, perhaps, as the burning in the lower levels of the city. | Wow!! Very powerful chapter Cathleen! This packs a much stronger punch than it did before, so the rewrite was well worth the effort. I can't imagine why no one else has commented as this is a fantastic beginning chapter. I'm off to read the rest :-) Author Reply: Thanks, Pearl! Your support as always, is so much appreciated.
