| Heh, I've had the alert for this sitting in my inbox, and I finally got the time to catch up on reading... Very sweet little piece, mellon-nin. Nice to read about Gilraen for a change. Reading such fics always makes me feel guilty for reading/writing stories where she's conveniently "gone" from the picture. ^^ Author Reply: LOL, I started writing Aragorn-based fan fiction at an age where I was old enough to not be afraid to write her, so it's ok, I don't blame you :P She is a fascinating character, to say the least. | |

| That is a lovely second mathom to celebrate the birthday of your favourite Ranger, after the one at TORn. To watch Gilraen with her newborn son was nice. I always thought it so sad that not only Arathorn died so soon, but Gilraen didn't get to live until Aragorn was crowned King and married to his beloved Arwen - she would have been so happy! Kitty (aka Peredhil lover) Author Reply: I agree- she should have lived longer than she did, but simply withered away. Life is certainly not fair. Someone should write an AU of her being at the wedding. It would be interesting to see what she thinks. Thanks for the review! :) | |
