I absolutely ADORE Pippin learning to play the harp from Elladan! The whole scene of them sitting together, teacher and student, was simply beautiful. And poor Pippin learning to play the fiddle...hey, lol, we *all* have to start *somewhere*. :-) Lovely story. :-) Author Reply: Thank you so much m'dear Pippinfan! Glad you enjoyed it all, and yes, we all start at the same place - at the beginning as beginners! ;-)

Very nice chapter, Pearl! I needed something to cheer me up, and little Pippin playing the fiddle did the trick :) I agree with the others that music, particularly creating music can help Pippin greatly. And I loved Elladan's song! Last but not least, I loved it that Tulip appeared in this chapter. And I had to smile again when I read that Bilbo, like Frodo in Cathleen's stories, noticed the change in Tulip's facial features, but dismissed it as nonsense! There's more about that piglet than meets the eye! Thank you very much, Pearl, Golden and Cathleen :) Author Reply: Thank you Andrea :-) The lovely song was Golden's creation *applause for Golden* Glad the chapter cheered you and than you so much for reading! (she is a most interesting piglet)

Yes, this chapter *did* turn out delightfully, and I think the lightheartedness was a perfect little and much needed break for the characters. I'm pleased to know that I was able to help, and as I told you, it was a lovely and very flattering experience for me to have the opportunity to write with you! And Tulip was equally flattered, although she *does* tend to let these things go to her head.... Thank you for such an awesome, touching story. As I've said a hundred times already, I do love it. I'm sure the next chapter will be tremendous and the muse will be generous! **Applauds Pearl** Cathleen Author Reply: **Applauds Cathleen** and **Applauds Golden** You two were life savers, no need to be applauding me - this time at least ;-) Thank you and Tulip for all your help :-)

And with music helping to soothe the savage breast, Pippin has a better time keeping calm and free of further seizures. Poor lad! And love that they actually told the proper ending. And I can just see Pippin, Tulip tucked under his arm, forcing himself to applaud and then retreating. Wonder where Errol was this visit? Heh! I love BOTH of these watchful playmates, you must realize. And love that her eyes also widened with horror at having to listen to him play the more! Author Reply: Making music will be good for Pippin, I've no doubts. Tulip sneaked in because Cathleen was helping with the brain storming and Golden thought a flashback to little Pippin learning to play something would work well here. Had it been GW in on the brainstorming, then it would have been Errol :-) Even stuffed toy friends have their limits of tolerance ;-) Thank you Larner :-)

Oh Pearl! How nice to see an update tonight! And a musical Pippin--even better! I really like the way you have Elladan teaching him to play the harp--it will be great that he has an instrument that will allow him to compensate for the weakness in his hand. And the account of the early lessons was very funny also--I really liked the way Pippin made them finish the story, and the cousin's pride in one another at the end--very beautiful and "un-angsty"--a nice change of pace for this story! Author Reply: Thank you so much Dreamflower :-) I had always felt that Pippin was musically inclined, even just from reading the books, so I enjoy having him be so in my stories. I supposed I shouldn't have had him be the champion little fiddler - but I couldn't resist. *g* The angst will be returning, but I'm hoping there will be more happy moments ahead as well.

Ah this is a very cute chapter of the story! I know how hard it is to listen to someone when they first learn how to play an instrument. or rather for the second time over. My friend (who's name is Pippin) has had to re-learn how to play an number of instruments, since he can no longer play them. the Piano isn't that bad.... because it mostly sounds good no matter how you play it... but with like String instruments (like Fiddle) can Agravate the living daylights out of you!! Ah but it's funny anway lol Author Reply: Hi Pippinsgirl, glad you enjoyed it :-) I'm learning fiddle myself these days so I know how bad that can be ;-)

This WAS a delightful chapter. Thank your friends! I loved the sight of Pip in Elladan's lap - how wondrous. And to feel the non-judgemental perusal of Pip's injured hand so that he could help Pippin play. Wow! Great chapter and loved the 'flashbacks!' Author Reply: Thank you so much Agape :-) I'll be reminding them to come read the reviews. So glad you enjoyed it all.

What a beautiful chapter; you ladies make a wonderful team! It's delightful how Tulip is being woven into so many tales. Ohhh, Pippin playing an Elven harp is a sweet image. The sons of Elrond are very gracious and generous. And the love and care the hobbits feel for one another is so obvious. Author Reply: Thank you shirebound, my mentor :-) Of all the Elves, I think I like the twins the best. I'll make sure C&G read the reviews. Thank you!

So glad to see a new chapter of this, Pearl. I can see Cathleen's touch clearly.:) I know Golden has been encouraging you all along the way. I hadn't thought of it before really, but music really could be a key to Pippin having a fuller recovery. The story of Pippin learning his first instrument was cute. The ending of this chapter was so sweet. The love between the cousins is wonderful. I am really excited about this story and want to see where it goes. I want to offer your muse just about anything he/she wants to keep enspiring you.:) Author Reply: Thank you so much Garnet :-) I will make sure C&G read the reviews. As you know, on this story in particular, I really value your opinion. I'm glad we are still up to your expectations. Music will keep showing up :-) I'll let my muse know it is getting offered bribes ;-) Thank you!
