Indeed, it is scandalous! Lord Denethor would never have allowed it! LOL Well, I can see the plot thicken...

“Alas, indeed,” Aragorn replied suspecting Faramir was referring to his brother as well as to Ostopher. "Greed has destroyed far better men than this young fool I am trying today." - - Don't quite agree that Boromir was greedy, but the story you're weaving is good. Author Reply: Thank you.I'm pleased you like the story.

It was the Medieval king's duty to not only fight the wars but also be the Chief Justice of the land, as you illustrate in Aragorn struggles through in this chapter. I'm enjoying his efforts to get to the bottom of Ostopher's story instead of cavalier-ly sending the presumed criminal to his death. I can't wait to find out the results of the defendent's little tete-a-tete with Aragorn and Faramir. - Steff Author Reply: Many thanks for your much apppreciated review.I'm pleased you are enjoying the story.I wanted to show Aragorn as a wise and just King as I believe Tolkien intended.

Sorry bout that--the computer thought I was done before I was! Now that Aragorn has found a means of seeing if Ostopher was involved in a fight we are that much closer to the truth! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much apppreciated review.Hopefully Aragorn will soon learn if there is more than there seems to be to Ostopher.

Linda, you know I really enjoyed your first version of these two chapters, but just like it happened with the first chapter, I like your expanded version much more. I can't wait for chapter three. Hi Linda Thank goodness Aragorn and Faramir are prepared to listen to their instincts in this matter. As Faramir can attest it is hard to resist the King's insight and healing hands and I am sure the truth will out and justice will be served. I do so love 'your' Faramir. . .you and I are clearly on the same wavelength when it comes to our favorite Ranger. Thank you for sharing this story, I look forward to reading more. Hugs Helen Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I believe that neither Aragorn or Faramir would ever want to take an innocent life.Gondor is in good hands with them in charge! I always write Faramir with dark hair, but we do see him in a very similiar light.Your story is the one I currently most eagerly await updates of! I hope to post more soon, Hugs,Linda

Ah, the plot thickens. What will the young accused criminal reveal? Trust Aragorn and Faramir to look beneath a deceptively simple surface for the truth! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review, my first for this chapter. I like to imagine that Aragorn and Faramir truly care about justice.
