Oh, Shirebound! That's beautiful! I really think this is one of your best! I am re-reading some of my favorites and, of course, your Avalanche is one of them, and it is a delight to see how much your writing style has improved over the years. You are perfecting a skill you already had in great measure - much to my, and I am sure all your readers' delight! Author Reply: Thank you so much, and I'm just thrilled to hear from you. I'm delighted that you can see progress in my writing over the years. What a lovely compliment. This little series was such a departure for me, and I'm very glad you enjoyed it.

Oohh, I do like these very much! I feel the differences of each one, their land, their history, what they see, what is important to them. You don't burden your vignettes with detail, but you say just enough that I want to wander among the trees and perhaps understand a little bit more of their world. Thank you for this silvan trilogy. Author Reply: what is important to them I like how you say that; that's exactly the distinction I was trying to make. Thank you for reading! :)

Thank you - These are wonderful, all different (and unusual) povs, and yet all singing the changes. Eerie thought, that such a long view can be grasped. Thank you! Author Reply: Thank *you*! I'm very glad you enjoyed reading these as much as I enjoyed the challenge of finding these 'voices'. :)

And I am not dissapointed! Another tale from the voiceless, and it is no less than the others. Thank you so very much, for telling me the stories of plant and stone! HALROHIR Author Reply: Thank you for your lovely comments. I truly enjoyed bringing the 'voices' of these beings to life.

These are so beautiful, Shirebound! The language is poetic and evocative, and they are so different from your usual work--but they are wonderful! Author Reply: Thank you very much! I agree, they're very different than my "usual", and I really enjoyed bringing them to life.
