| Wow! If I counted right, we have now four different strands in this story: three search parties - and Pippin :) I'm impressed! I really hope that the forest was not tricking Paladin and sent him in the wrong direction. After all the forest and its inhabitants should have sensed that he is another one with faerie blood in his veins. And they know where his son is. So, the "cave search party" found Paladin's slingshot? LOL!!! Pippin and his father have indeed a lot in common ;-) I'm looking forward to reading more. Author Reply: Yes, there's a lot going on in this tale. You may be surprised in the next chapter as to what is going on with Paladin. I hope you enjoy reading it! | Ah--the Faerie blood tells in this story, showing up in Paladin and Peregrin both. And we see that Merry wasn't the first one to find that cave! Paladin's catapult! Hooray! Soon the reunion will take place, and Pippin will return home to his home. Author Reply: The Took Faerie blood has always fascinated me, and I'm having fun exploring it in this story!
