This was fantastic. Perfectly in character, in style and with very well paced action. An engrossing story that was a delight to read. Loved.

This was a delightful tale all the way around. I'm sorry - I thought I had been writing reviews every chapter, but I see I didn't. I very much liked this - a good 'addition' to Tolkien's tale. I loved the Fellowship and I loved the adventure and the drama. Very well written.

There is hope for Boromir, if he's found the way about a Hobbit's wariness! And once more they are free of danger--for the moment! Such a clever plan! Yay!

“I don’t want to breathe smoke,” Frodo said despondently. “Why doesn’t anyone listen to me?” LOL!!! Yes, why doesn't anyone listen to the Ringbearer? It's obvious that he had his share of smoke already ;-) On the other hand, I'm convinced that Aragorn's remedy will do him good! That was a great battle! And once again each member of the fellowship contributed to the final victory in his own special way. “Dangerous folk, hobbits,” Gimli rumbled. Well, actually I had thought that the title referred to the goblins. On second thought - yes, sometimes it's dangerous to be near a hobbit, especially if his name is Meriadoc Brandybuck :) Thank you for another wonderful story!

“Dangerous folk, hobbits,” Gimli rumbled. “I think I had best remove temptation from the path of those two younglings.” He added the contents of the two cheesecloth bags to the one at his feet, grinding them carefully into the dust. “I told you I had deciphered their secret language,” Boromir said in response to Aragorn’s raised eyebrows. *Applause, Applause, Applause* Most Excellently Well Done Budgie!! And I loved Frodo complaining that no one was listening to him - LOL An exciting and wonderful story. I loved how you brought in further damage that was being done by Saruman. Wonderful!!

And now, like all of your wonderful tales, the Fellowship rejoins its destined path of canon! I really love the way you are able to do that so well! No matter how thrilling or suspenseful the adventure, the goal is never lost, and they always return to the Quest relatively undamaged! And I also enjoyed very much the way they all work together to show their own strengths. Poor Merry, though, forced to give up his little stash! *snicker*
