| A loving tale. How it must have ripped their hearts apart to be separated like that at the end when they had always been together before. The film Return of the King is one big four hour favorite scene, but if I had to name individual scenes, I would have as one, Merry watching Pippin and Gandalf gallop off. | Great little story! I loved how Merry came to be Pippin's protector. And I hope Pippin was awake long enough to hear it, too ;-) Gandalf is the most powerful protector one could wish for. But still, being not at Pippin's side will be very difficult for Merry, and vice versa. It is a good thing that WE know that those two will be reunited again!
