I got to the part in the House of Stewards and immediately emailed that part to a friend who just lost her mother Saturday... I thougth it would help. Gloriously sad, yet wondrous moment between the brothers.... If for naught else, the tale would be worth the reading for this. HOWEVER - I loved Faramir thinking about a first aid stall :-) I would have never thought of it in this age!!! 'By the time the party excited the lamp-lit tunnel he was surrounded by twelve guardsmen.' I'm sorry - it's been very tense and really fun to read, but I really had to laugh at poor Faramir - he must have been red-faced by the time he reached the Citadel! Phew - finally finished this and it is really, really good! Bless you - putting this on my 'will NOT stop reading' list! Author Reply: Hi Agape Thank you so much for your kind words and enthusiasm. I am really pleased that you were moved by the Hallows interlude. . .the connection between the brother's was too strong to have been completely severed by Boromir's death. I too smile to myself at the thought of Faramir being 'rounded up' by the guards. . . just Estel's big-brotherly way of making a point to his wayward Steward! Hugs Helen

Great to see another story from you.You have a gift for page turners.Poor Faramir, he should confine in Aragorn. It is indeed easy to feel things are going just too well before trouble hits. Author Reply: Thank you Linda, He 'should' confide in Estel but at the moment is too confused by the situation to explain what he cannot yet understand. All will be revealed in the final chapter. Oh my, this is off to a great start! You write Faramir with such an obvious love for the character, and do it so well. This appears to be the beginning of a huge mystery, and I can imagine the uproar when Arwen was pushed inadvertently by Faramir. Who is this mysterious person that ran into him? Oh, I'm so pleased to see another story from you, my friend!! Author Reply: Thank you Cathleen Even when I try to write 'Happy' Faramir the angst always seems to creep in but as I've commented before, he does suffer so beautifully! *grin* This is only a two chapter story so this mystery man will soon be unmasked. Many, many thanks for your continued and enthusiastic support and friendship Hugs Helen

Now--why would Anborn hold a grudge against Faramir? Because Faramir agreed to lead men to an indefensible position? Interesting concept here! Author Reply: Hi Larner What would turn a loyal and trusted friend into an enemy? All will be revealed in the final chapter. Thank you for taking the time to review, it is very much appreciated.
