| Yes, Arwen sailing with her brothers is another option, though it is still sad that Arwen had to part from her beloved forever. I so wish the Professor would have given them both a happier ending! Author Reply: I've read some stories recently where Elladan and Elrohir wait in Lórien until Arwen fades and dies - at least this version spares them that! | |

| It would have been so good in many ways had she indeed been able to sail. However, she had made her decision, and it proved a bitter one when she realized her beloved preceded her. Author Reply: It's difficult to imagine how this AU would have worked out for Arwen in the end. Would she have learned to be happy in Valnor? | |
