*sniff, sniff* You have a lovely way with words! I liked how you described Frodo and Bilbo as they "held each others' eyes". Wonderful! It's been such a delight to read this story! I'll keep my eyes looking for the vignettes. A heartfelt Thank You to you and Golden for sharing your Muse. :-) Author Reply: You are so very welcome, Pippinfan! And thank you for such for your kind words. I'm glad you'll be watching for the vignettes :-)

Hello all! I also wanted to thank you girls personally for reading Pearl´s and mine story. Soooo happy you liked it! And Garnet thanks also for telling us, what scenes you´d like to see in the vignettes. Wishes and ideas are always welcome to us! After our rest we are more then happy to see, what we can work inside. And a great thanks to Larner, as we just found out you nominated Blessing for the Mefas! How exiting! :) Lets see then if our dear Blessing Pippin has a chance there. *hugs to all* And a veeeery big Thanks to Pearl, because without you, that idea would still be only flying around in my head and would not have become the story, that it is now! *HUGS* Golden Author Reply: *HUGS* back, Golden :-) Thank you for the plot bunny that started it all :-)

Well, I liked it how Dreamflower called this last chapter "conclusion to the main story" and I'm quite sure there will be many new vignettes in (the) "The Blessing Universe" ;-) It is very understandable that Pippin ponders about being different and the question if this difference is "good" or "bad". But Merry showed him perfectly that they all have changed during the quest. I also liked it that Merry understood what Pippin "made him see" about the special Tookish gift. Last but not least, I just loved it that it was Pippin who reminded the others of "The Blessing" and gave them strenght to do what had to be done! Thank you very much, Pearl and Golden for this wonderful story! MEWD :) I'm looking forward to reading more... Author Reply: Thank you for the MEWD, Andrea! I'm so glad you liked this last regular chapter so well. The Merry and Pippin scene went differently than I had thought it would and I'm glad that readers have liked it. You are very welcome!

I just rejoiced over the whole chapter... the sense of peace, even amidst sorrow, permeated every word. The sense of hope rang clear. I just can't say enough about this wondrous tale and this final (sobs) chapter... I almost died when I read the last line... but it was a good place to stop. You did extremely well, Pearl Took. Please give my regards to Golden too. This has been a wondrous journey - thank you for sharing it with us! Author Reply: Thank you so very much, Agape :-) I'm so glad that the feelings I was going for came through in this chapter. I particularly wanted that feeling of hope and strength. It is a bit of a cliff hanger, but I didn't feel too bad knowing that we will be doing the vignettes. You are so welcome and I hope you'll come along for the rest of the story as we write the vignettes :-)

What an excellent conclusion to the main story! I love the way you came back to the original blessing that started it all--what a wonderful way to connect it all. The conversations were low-key, yet emotional--Frodo and Bilbo, Pippin and Merry. And I think you incorporated the source material very well as well! I look forward very much to the vignettes, but I understand you wanting a break! Author Reply: Thank you so much, Dreamflower :-) I'm so glad you found the conversations well done, that was what I was hoping to achieve and I'm so glad to hear I managed to do it. We're glad you'll be watching for the vignettes :-)

IT'S FINISHED *cries* now I won't have my regular Pippin courage story fix..... OH but it was so good!! it still is!! Oh I want to print it off to read it over and over and over and over and over.....It's just so good!! I wish It was published!! So I could have it in a book to carry with me all the time!!! I have always loved Pippin's blessing since I first heard it. I want to get it printed on a poster and put it in my room. It has somewhat been quiet helpful to me, to get through those icky days when it just isn't so good. OOO how I could read this forever!! Author Reply: Don't cry o'er much pippinsgirl, don't forget there will be vignettes ;-) We are so glad that you love the story to much. It is a joy to know we've touched your heart and even more to know it has helped you through rough times. If you get the blessing printed on a poster, please do remember that we didn't write it - it is a quote from: "Five Children and It" by Edith Nesbit. Thank you for all you lovely reviews and keep an eye out for the vignettes :-)

A marvelous resolution to a wonderful story. And now all four look to what needs doing next. Alas for what has happened to all, and blest are all for what has happened to all. Heroism too often comes at a great cost. And I eagerly await what might come next. Author Reply: Yes, true heroism is costly. Thank you so much, Larner. We're glad you enjoyed this story and that you will be looking forward to the vignettes. Blessings to you :-)

I am sad to see it end, but I did know it was coming.:) Thanks for taking us on such an interesting journy. I look forward eagerly for the other stories in this universe. As for this last chapter... I find myself wanting to start singing, "I am the Don Quixote, the man of LaMacha"(I know I spelled that wrong, but couldn't find the right spelling) after the comment about being naked and challenging rocks and trees to duels. I half expected a windmill to get mentioned.:) That was one of cleverest things I've seen in a while. I think you both wrapped this up on just the right note. There is joy and concern, happiness and uncertanty. They all have the blessing of the Wise, and they will prevail. I'm glad Pippin told Merry the truth and that Merry agrees to stand behind his cousin 100%. I'm also going to put in a request. I really would love to see something about Pippin facing down the ruffian in front of the Green Dragon and also something about his long ride through the night to bring reinforcements to the Battle of Bywater. These are two moments in the book that I would love to see developed in this universe. Thanks.:) Author Reply: Hi Garnet, Yes, you were one of the few. I'm so glad you liked the "naked and challenging rocks and trees to duels" I wasn't thinking about Don Quixote when I wrote it, but did when I was going over it for errors and such. The scenes you mention are ones that have long been in the works, so never fear, they will be amongst the vignettes. Again, thank you so very much Garnet for your encouragement and support :-)

It's wonderful that Pippin realizes that he has two homes now, and that Merry "knows", and Sunshine is there, and ohhhh, the gentleness with which dear Bilbo is treated. *happy sigh* Lovely story, Ladies, ending with a blessing not only for Pippin, and the hobbits, but for all of us. We do the best we can with whatever strengths and gifts -- and weaknesses and failings -- we've been dealt, for as long as we're able, and with such friends as we can gather round us. *applauds* Author Reply: Thank you so much, shirebound :-) We're happy you like the ending for this part of the tale. Having friends and loved ones does make everything better. Thank you :-)
