| Ah, this is one of my favorite Trilogy gapfillers, and one of my favorite Aragorn-Halbarad scenes. A very tense and harrowing scene, and yet comforting that Halbarad was there with Aragorn. Aragorn's flash of poignant foresight was bittersweet; I agree that Halbarad would not have been turned back. | Linda, I loved the first version of this story. I found it very poignant and very close to what can be inferred from the book.
