Well, this is the best resolution we could hope for, given Boromir being who he is, and coming to what he's coming to. A telling insight into the thoughts that must have been going through his head. Decisions this soldier never imagined having to consider. Author Reply: Your own thoughts on the subject are always appreciated. I do sometimes feel sorry for Boromir, having to give up the rule of a country he loves to a nearly complete stranger. I imagine that, even if he did accept it, he spent much more time thinking about it than I portray. Thanks for the review.

I'm really enjoying this story. Aragorn and Boromir both seem very true to the characters we see in the books. Thanks for sharing! Author Reply: Thank you for reading, Radbooks :)

Another great chapter. I, personally, am glad you stayed with the book rendition of Anduril.... It is truly a momentous moment, and I was really very grateful that Aragorn decided to share it with Boromir.... *heavy sigh* Author Reply: While the movie rendition was dramatic, I always preferred the book version. It just feels right that Anduril goes at the same as the Ring. I also learned from some internet site that it takes about a month to forge a sword with the classic methods (I don't know how valid it is, but that's the only source I could find). Frankly put, the War would have been over by the time Anduril was ready in the films :P
