| How terrible for Pip-frog! But better for all of us to know ahead of time that he's going to be all right. Love Gandalf's 'answer' to Merry's question about turning him back into a hobbit early. Pippin must really be sorry if he's going to give Merry all his afters for a week or two. | Well, IF something had happened to Pippin, Gandalf would have had to fear for his life because of the wrath of Pippin's cousins ;-) So he was very clever to apply the ward spell, too. | Ohhh, I was in suspense for long weeks... Of course Gandalf wouldn't let harm come to the Hobbits! What a relief - a ward. So Pip-frog won't be any snake's dinner. And he actually is feeling sorry for what he has done. I hope he does learn his lesson... or may Gandalf consider lengthening the spell? *grins in a way saying she wouldn't mind* -Kitt Author Reply: Hahaha! Poor Pip!
