| I am looking forward to finding out how this resolves. It is so well written, Garnet, you are handling a difficult subject with tact and grace. Author Reply: Thank you so much, Pearl. I hope the ending goes over well. I think my short story that I was working on as another follow-up to this may be growing into something longer. | Just read these Chapters and I like them very much. Till Chapter 2 I had so much hope it would work with the child...I thought maybe they get twins. I mean The Thains tookish twins sounds nice *g* and today, when people get children with help ( well hormones) its also often more then one child. But now I read this last chapter and am all teary! Poor Diamond, but more so..poop poor poor Pippin! *sobs* Dont tell Pearl that I said that ;) I SO HOPE there will be a Happy End for the two...and a baby. Looking forward to read more. Golden Author Reply: Yeah, it does seem that usually when people have trouble having children and they use hormones and such, they get twin, triplet, etc. Unfortunately, this time it is Pippin with the problem and not Diamond. Even now there isn't a whole lot that can be done for the male side of the problem. I will warn you that the rest of the ride is as bumpy as the first part.:) Also it looks like there will be a follow-up story to this one. | |

| Well, I must say that I'm glad our grief never went quite this far. Poor Diamond--wanting to protect herself when there's always the hope some things will--work--on occasion--often odd occasions; and it's better to be there than to miss out due to stubborness. Author Reply: Grief can be a strange beast. Diamond is very stubborn, she's a Took through and through. Both of them are hurting and neither one is doing a great job of dealing with it.
