Pearl's Pearls - A New String  by Pearl Took 4 Review(s)
Baggins BabeReviewed Chapter: 12 on 8/17/2008
A marvellous story, Pearl. What an unusual POV but fascinating. Yes, a lot happened while Faramir's livery was 'sleeping in a drawer.'!

I loved this line - "........Surely this small person, this half . . . I stopped. Were not halflings themselves beings of story-time and pretend, yet, wasn’t one now wearing me?"

Goodness me, I'd love to know what the livery thinks when the King arrives.

Author Reply: Thank you, Baggins Babe :-) I'm so glad you enjoyed and liked that line. I've no idea, I might need to ask it ;-)

A marvelous tale from a unique point of view. The thought that the livery would waken when the drawer was opened and would object to being given to a foreign individual is fascinating. Thanks so for this tale!

Author Reply: Thank you so much Larner :-) that was all some of that wonderful stuff that just comes to me somtimes, for which I'm grateful. You are very welcome.

Well, that was from an interesting POV. :) Glad the livery realizes that honor of being worn by a hobbit and sweet to hear of its love of Faramir who is a hobbit at heart.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Thank you so much, Antane! It is very proud livery, but like Faramir, has a very good heart. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. :-)
