I feel sure that some of Galadriel's maidens would have travelled with Arwen and I'm sure they would have thought Aragorn very young. It is wonderful to see that they recognise his greatness and maturity though. A wish of great foresight for the future King - he took that dark path and came to the light indeed.

I love this look at Aragorn as a young lad. It must have been very difficult to actually feel mature among the Elves.

This is wonderful. I find it perfectly plausible that some of Arwen's maidens would have accompanied her. And that these Elven maidens would have some opinions on the Man who had been chosen by her. The blessing is so very apt.

I love your blessings! Indeed this was a very fortunate company so be so wrapped up in not only cloaks, but prayers as well. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thanks, that's a nice way of putting it. :)

Dear Aragorn, he had borne a burden all his life and the Quest just added to it. A wonderful and prophetic blessing they gave to him. I agree about the escort for Arwen. Well done, Virtuella :-) Author Reply: Thanks, Pearl!

Interesting idea, although apparently Arwen never saw Aragorn within Imladris until the day he turned twenty, for she had spent over twenty years in her grandparents' realm. I love the blessing for this cloak, and it is certainly one that Aragorn of all people needs. Yes, very appropriate for Arathorn and Gilraen's son. Author Reply: "apparently Arwen never saw Aragorn within Imladris until the day he turned twenty" Yes, that was the occasion I had in mind. At twenty he would still be "very young", don't you think?

Again, a lovely little piece! I absolutely agree. Arwen would not travel alone, especially after what happened to her mother, even with an escort. Besides the best warriors of two Elven realms, and probably one or both brothers, she would certainly have had female companions. And Aragorn's paths were dark for most of his life. Again and again he had to go ways which seemed hopeless to most others. This is the perfect blessing for him. Author Reply: Thanks a lot!
