Oh, Galadriel is devious and Aragorn is still too sleep-dazzled to get suspicious. I can imagine how he looked like when Galadriel nearly woke him. His unruly hair probably sticking out every which way. I can understand that he wants to apologize for his appearance.

Author Reply: Heh! I love the thought of completely unruly hair sticking out oddly... what an amusing image. Thanks for the review.

An enjoyable story about a fascinating part of Aragorn's story. I liked your Galadriel.
A couple of suggestions. You have a typo here " would bade you,". It should be "would bid you", also "pants" sounds very modern and in the UK,usually means underwear.Maybe trousers would read better.

Author Reply: Thanks Linda, I'm glad you liked her. I fixed the typo, and as for 'pants', I did not realize how modern it was until I looked up its etymology. Tolkien himself uses "breeches", so I'll be using that in the future. Thank you for the advice.

I feel giddy just reading this knowing what (or should I say who) Aragorn will find on his walk! Excellent job on Galadriel....so mysterious!

Author Reply: Thank you! I am glad you liked her.

A very subtle and delicate vignette on what might have occurred between Galadriel and Aragorn before she sent him on his way to meet Arwen. I liked your wise and caring Galadriel. Both she and the mood of this piece felt very faithful to the book.

Author Reply: Thank you very much! I am glad that you enjoyed it.

Ah, it's conniving she is! Heh!

Author Reply: Of course she is. She's Galadriel :) Thanks for reviewing.

“While you may have need to hide your identity elsewhere in the world, you shall be as you were meant to be in this wood.”

I like this very much. The Lady has created a wonderful refuge and sanctuary for weary spirits such as his, and her actions and decisions are enhanced by the foresight and ability to see into the hearts of those who come to her.

Author Reply: I am glad you enjoyed this, Shirebound. I truly do believe she knew her part to play in the future of the world, which is why she encouraged Aragorn to dress all nicely. I think she knew that he and Arwen would meet.

My, my, I wonder who he saw on his walk in the woods? Beautiful little story! Thanks

Author Reply: Oh goodness, I could never guess :) Thank you for the review!
