| This is lovely. I seem to have misssed a bunch... I love the 'new' perspective on that time. It seemed to incredible that Elwe had abandoned his people - what were they to think? What was his brother to think? Only death - it would seem - could keep him from his people... but no.......... | |

| I was wondering where you were going when you said you'd been inspired regarding a conundrum! Those Valar say the darndest things, don't they? Love Olwë's POV here, and the long range implications regarding trust and understanding when things go so terribly wrong later on. Excellently told! Thank you for letting me read this through before, it's as lovely as it was then! ^_^ But sad, too. :( Alas for Olwe, that he has to move on without his brothers. But he'll do well as lord and king of the Teleri. *smiles* ~Kaylee! Author Reply: Thanks, Kaylee! :) Yes, it is sad, but while it's an ending for him, it is also a beginning. And, after all, he does eventually learn that one day he will be reunited with Elwe, when he is Reborn after healing from his death in Doriath. And that will be as happy a day as this one is bittersweet. | |
