| Oh, dear! Anyone who ever had siblings or cousins has heard this before! That is an idea I never thought of before. Tolkien just said "Eldarion and daughters". He did not mention how many daughters, or when they were born. Twins run in Arwen's family. Why not as likely boy-girl twins, as identical girls? Author Reply: I do not completely remember when the twin for Eldarion idea came, but I think it came when I originally created Eleniel back in 2005/2006. Her name was the first thing created about her (unlike most of the rest of my OCs). I remembered all the other twins- Elurid and Elurin, Elros and Elrond, Elladan and Elrohir- and it just seemed to fit that the "El" daughter would be a twin of Eldarion. And so it remained. :D | |
