Hi Linda Goodness gracious, white slavery in Gondor! Good action in this story, Linda. It made me hope you would soon favor us with a juicy long story, perhaps with the "dark' tone that you started here. I just finished Alison Weir's "The Wars of the Roses," which is a non-fiction account of this troubled time in British history. Even as late as the 15th century, women were held in little regard. I doubt that Warwick the King Maker, King Edward IV, and his brother, soon to become Richard III, would have even thought much about how prostitutes in their land came to be in their sad situation. It's nice to think that your Faramir and your Aragorn have more noble (and more modern) attitudes toward the plight of women sold into sexual slavery. And I agree, the last sentence "rocked!" Pretty please give us a new long angsty story. - Steff Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.

Isn't it nice to see such formidable men being slower on the uptake than oneself? :D Well, it all ended the way it should, but you went out with a bang, because that last sentence is *hilarious*! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. Yes,I love being one step ahead of the characters!I'm pleased you enjoyed the last sentence.

Trust Aragorn and Faramir to see justice done in the realm they so wisely ruled. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I can just imagine our heroes would react like this!

It's good to see the law of Gondor been so magnificently upheld by an outraged Faramir. And a most satisfying conclusion all round. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed faramir upholding the law.We need a few more like him!

I would think that Faramir could be terrifying in his anger; and of course one would not want to get on the bad side of Aragorn Elessar Arathornsson Telcontar, no indeedy! Good conclusion to a good story. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I think people who don't often get angry are the most scary when they do.I would not be in that innkeeper's shoes for anything!I'm pleased you enjoyed your birthday present.

At least they have closed the place down! It would be a surprise to find such places operating openly in their realm, I'd think. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I guess the owner just hoped he would not be found out. There was one such place near where I lived calling itself a sauna that operated for a few years before the authorities realised what was going on and closed it.
