| Ah, I like the early days, when the King and Steward are still learning much about each other. Someone, as we know, had to look into that Stone so that we would know the image burnt therein, and it makes sense that it would be Faramir. Good of the King also to see the image and realize what exactly it said about Faramir's character. | This is a wonderful gapfiller! I had never thought about how the stone might have been recovered from Rath Dinen--but it's true, not just anyone could have handled it! And of course after his own struggle with the Orthanc stone, Aragorn would recognize the strength Faramir showed with that one. Very well done! | An excellent response to the prompt, Linda. Although I doubt Faramir sees himself as being as strong as does Aragorn at this point. Images are expressed well, and the entire vignette is very emotionally powerful. | Oh my, I can't remember ever reading about what became of the Stone that Denethor used. This is very powerful; I really appreciate seeing the respect Aragorn and Faramir have for one another.
