I really like this drabble a lot. I like how the character's dream is to guard the white tree. You go into the details beautifully without a whole lot of words, but enough to really convey the way the character feels. I also love how he finally gets the job, and he ends up being bored out of his mind. I love the message of this, that sometimes what we think we want most isn't really what we think we want. It reminds me of that saying "Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it."
Great job! Keep up the B2MeM drables. I'm really enjoying them. :-) |
