I was right. It is much better. You did a good job of portraying the Haradrim and of the love between Aragorn and Faramir. It's no wonder Janab wished for such loyal kinsman. And Pope's poem was a wonderful way to round up your tale. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased you liked this revised version. It took me a while to think of a good ending and I changed it again after posting!

Ah, but such mutual loyalty would indeed bring wonder to those who must live with mutual concern and suspicion as is seen in Harad! Nicely done, Linda. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. The ending took me ages to work out when the rest of the story was written so I'm pleased you liked it.

as I said before: I love you descriptions of the bond between Faramir and Aragorn and this story showed it again brightly. Faramirs devotion never sounds hollow or awkward, only natural and real. Wonderful little story. Thank you. Lai Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed my story and Aragorn and Faramir's bond.

Very much enjoyed this. Faramir's devotion is touching, and the surprise twist of the Khan arriving to the rescue made it interesting. I think my favorite part was the very end, as the Khan reflected on the reign of Elessar and how he failed to kill Faramir, instead letting him live and marry and beget heirs... I'm sure that was an astounding concept to him. Well done! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. i'm pleased you enjoyed the story. The Khan's reflections were a last minute addition, which I'm now glad I added!
