Ent draught! Lucky for Pippin they just decided to relocate and this didn't turn into attack of the killer tomatoes! LOL! I love Pippin's logic - the ent draught made him and Merry taller, so it would make the tomatoes taller - while completely overlooking the other side effect because he and Merry could already walk! Author Reply: Yeah, Pip didn't think this through. Ent draught on Shire plants! Poor Frodo will have to do without tomatoes this year. Thanks for reading!

Love it! Oh man, or I should say, oh, hobbit, pulling up stakes indeed! I was really tested not to laugh out loud since I am reading this at the library but how wonderful. Love how Sam related the little plant not wanting to be left behind and how they trudged down the road and Pippin wanting to follow and Frodo wondering whether it was a good morning or not. Great, great stuff! Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Poor Sam had a very unusual gardening problem here. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I really do wonder what Ent draught would do to regular plants. Thanks for reading and for the lovely review!

I remember reading this somewhere but it was just as hilarious second time round. Trust Pippin to run amok with that Ent draught! Frodo's reaction was hysterical and as for Merry......... Brilliant GW Author Reply: Thank you! I always wonder if it's really a good idea to re-post something that's already out there in another location. It's good to know that you enjoyed reading it a second time here. Thanks for reviewing this!

I'd leave a review but I am still giggling too hard to make any sense........walking tomatoes...........oh my word............=D *runs for bathroom* Author Reply: You can run into the bathroom but you can't hide from walking tomatoes. They have the ability to find you. hehehe Glad this gave you a giggle and thanks for reading!

Intrigued by the title, I expected a suitably surreal tale, and I was not disappointed. This very funny, and it is even convincing, but at the same time it is indeed a barking mad story! Hahaha! Author Reply: I tend to be barking mad all of the time. : ) Glad you weren't disappointed. If you see the tomato plants, let me know. : )

The Ataaaaaaaaaaaaaaack of the killer toMAtoes! Author Reply: These are peaceful tomatoes. When things got out of hand, they just left. LOL I do think of that film when I think of this story though. hehehe

ROTFLMAO!!!!! Omgosh!! How the heck did I miss this one?? That was too funny! The bit of Sam confessing to Frodo about the several beers and watching the tomatoes up and leaving the garden was absolutely hilarious. Loved it! Thanks for the laughs! Author Reply: I liked letting poor Sam see something he couldn't explain away. I do enjoy it when practical folks are in impractical situations. Glad you liked this one. This was one of my odder ideas and that is how it came to be posted here.

This is too funny! Poor Frodo and Sam! I don't blame the tomatoes for taking off...:D I hope there are more of these tales! Author Reply: So glad you enjoyed this and there will most likely be more. I'm not good at stopping. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Come back any time.

"If those tomatoes come back for us, you're dealing with them, Peregrin Took." ROTFL!!! I remember this, too. But it's always great to read it again! And someone should warn Shirebound to not let Pippin near her tomatoe plant! Who knows what he might do? Author Reply: Awww, thanks for reading again. I'm so glad you liked it enough to read twice. That's always good to hear. I'll warn Shirebound. Pippin might just turn up at her place with Ent draught. Stranger things have happened.

*grin* I remember this! Hilarious! Perhaps next year, Sam can plant the tomatoes upside-down in buckets like I do. They wouldn't need any stakes then, and maybe Pippin could try his experiment again. Author Reply: You know, Sam might just be the very hobbit that thought of those upside down tomatoes! You should do a fiction where he or someone in the Shire plants upside down tomatoes. That would be funny. I'm sure the Gaffer would find it very annoying! Can you just imagine an Ent Tomato upside down in a bucket? LOL
