Very sad, and I can easily believe that it happened exactly like this. Author Reply: The whole situation was very sad when Earendil brought back such terrible news and I do not envy those who had to bear the sorrowful news to their kin. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

No matter how much of Elvish lore I read, be it Tolkien or a fans, the sense of horror, pain, and downright stupidity just rolls on and on. Such a history of grief............. Well written! Author Reply: The history of mankind is full of stupidity and horror and pain as well. I think that elves had a lot learn and they learned it the hard way. Those of Aman especially were very naive and oblivious to what the real world of Middle-earth could require of one. Thanks so very much for reading and reviewing! Sorry about the late reply to yoru review. Things are crazy lately.

Very sad, but it feels right. Author Reply: It was very sad, indeed. I think that those who received and then had to disseminate the news from Eärendil had a hard task before them. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
