| It is a sad fact that at times people are forced to take up arms when they were not ment to do so in the first place. I guess that the kinslayings were dreadful events, for both sides, and that is the reason for Celebrian´s parents not to talk about them. Am so looking forward to the next chapter. Author Reply: I'm always annoyed when the Teleri of Alqualonde are portrayed as weepy ninnies who let themselves be slaughtered without resistance. No, they did resist - and it brought upon them the horror of kinslaying, too. So, in a way Feanor and his madness slaughtered their souls, too. | |
