| Poor Meril, it looks like something dreadful has happened to her and that she has seen many dreadful things. The song sounds wonderful, it would have been nice to be there. | Have I told you how much I love this story? I love your writing style in this particular story (I love your other ones too)… "washing herself by every chance seemed to become a sheer irresistible urge since last year" great detail that show how she feels, sometimes we forget that she was a captive of orcs, even if Tolkien didn't specified what kind torture she suffered, I assume that the orcs did more than a beating to her. Author Reply: Thank you. :) Yeah, that's what I assume, too. But I've left it to the imagination to any readers with intention. Sometimes it's better to say less, don't you think?
