| Interesting excerpts - I hope to see more! Perhaps Greenjade can learn on his journey out of darkness from his stepfather's journey into it and Smeagol can learn too. | A sadness, but I suspect it is one of the good sadnesses, actually. Certainly he is growing. And to read Frodo's own words, know Frodo's own secret thoughts as he carried that blasted thing.... Good to see another chapter. Author Reply: Yes, he is coming to know his stepfather, and wondering if he really wants to know certain things. A good sadness in a way, but certainly doesn't feel good to him in the moment. The things that make us strong rarely do, surely... Thanks for the comments as always, Larner!
