| Those who dared to oppose Melkor were brave indeed, even though they didn´t stand a chance against him. That was the first link in a long and terrible chain of events that caused grief to many. The Valar seem to have the power to make listeners hear and see what they describe and nothing else, a good thing for the teller but not always for the listener I guess. I also see a warning against blindly following anyone here. Author Reply: Oh, yes. Fanatism is never a healthy thing, and almost always leads to tragedy. | |
