Nice look at the next two generations. The Travellers might have passed away, but their children and grandchildren are the same responsible Hobbits, and the Shire will be in good hands, no doubt. It's good to know that. And I like it that Aragorn is always visiting the Shire, even now, when he feels sad or needs a cheering up otherwise. Author Reply: I could have sworn I replied to this the other day! Thank you so much for the review, Kitty. It is always a pleasure to find another. I think Aragorn enjoyed his 'visits' to the Shire, and I'm sure the next generation of hobbits was just as responsible.

What a sweet story! I love the healing the king received - as I told someone else recently - not only should everyone have a hobbit or two in their care, but they should be in the care of hobbits! Love most the name of Daisy's twins! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thank you, Antane. Glad you enjoyed it. The healing power of hobbits is a wonderful thing! I thought it would be quite sweet to have Frodi and Daisy's twins named after our beloved Ringbearers.

I, too, rejoice that Frodo Took would one day be Thain and the Took! Hooray! I'm with our King--Hobbits are so refreshing! Author Reply: Thanks, Larner! Hobbits are very refreshing. I think the name Frodo would have been a good choice for the future Thain. Merry and Pippin would have wanted to honour their beloved cousin, even as Sam did.

Aw.. an interlude with our dear hobbits. A restorative to the spirits indeed. Now Elessar knows how we readers of your wonderful writing feel! Author Reply: Thank you for your kind words, Harrowcat. Nothing like the healing power of hobbits, as Larner calls it!

I bounce with glee every time you update, BB! :) He had therefore sought the comfort of a visit to the Shire, to immerse himself in the lives of his beloved hobbits for a while. *happy sigh* That's what I do when I need comfort, too. What a lovely chapter. Author Reply: Me too, Shirebound! I've been soooooo busy recently that the Muse gave up and flounced off for a while. Glad you enjoyed. I think we all turn to the hobbits for comfort.

Aww...sad but sweet! Yes, I can see why Aragorn would look to this new generation of the Shire for comfort after his loss of Merry and Pippin. And I love the descriptions of each of the sons and grandsons! Great names, by the way! Author Reply: Thanks, Dreamflower. I think Aragorn would have needed comfort after losing Merry and Pippin - and who better to supply that than hobbits? I had fun imagining the younger hobbits - some have been mentioned in some of the other tales but it is always fun to meet new ones!
