(Certainly it had never crossed Erestor's mind...) I sort of thought of that when reading the part of Silmarillion where Thorondor helped Fingon free Maedhros by carrying him up the cliff where Maedhros was hung by a wrist. :) Glad you liked it. | Hello! Well to start off, I love it! :) I love your idea and how you describe the characters - very well done! And while you are conveying the troubled times, you are also giving more hope to the situation, I like it. :-) Great job! I like how you make the reader see the story through Erestor's eyes. I could very vividly imagine his feelings. Author Reply: Thank you very much for the warm welcome! Yes, I will post other stories, as long as they meet the guidelines of this site. In fact, I have just posted a one-shot about Aragorn. There are too few stories about Erestor's youth; most of the existing stories which have him as the main character are about love... so I made this. :) Glad you like it so far. Hopefully the next update will be available soon. (Foolish me. I forgot that I could reply publicly here.
