| I love the way you've worked canon into this; the hints of a deeper connection between the Hobbits and the Rohirrim, and the mention of the Ring war have grounded this well. The more mundane aspects of life and the bit about the laundry make this seem more real. :D Author Reply: Thank you so, Wendy! It was Dreamflower who pointed out to me that the Rohan/Hobbits connection might be an interesting topic to pick up. There'll be more about that, but much later in the story. You can tell that I'm innundated with laundry, eh? | |

| What a lovely chapter! I did so like the humor - and the two women with their wash. I'm going to be traveling soon myself and, am also leaving the packing and such to the listen minute. I must be mad. I am very concerned about the paints... I do so hope disaster does not hit our Deoric... One can always make excuses to make a decision appear right.... Yikes! Author Reply: Thanks.
