"Good things come to those who wait" it is said. And this little story is very good. Merry is right, Frodo would not have liked a big party. And I doubt that most of the hobbits would have understood what exactly was celebrated. The travellers would have been forced to recount their quest and that would have been painful - not only for Frodo. Little Elanor, however, arrived at the best possible day and made her uncle Frodo very happy :) Author Reply: Thank you so much for reading, Andrea! :)

Oh! Oh how wonderful to see a new hobbit story from you! ((((hugs))))) This was lovely-- Pippin, all earnestness and Tookish enthusiasm, wanting to see Frodo honored and properly acknowledged, and Merry, knowing Frodo just a little better, knowing that a big celebration is the last thing he would want on that day. And at the end, it's Sam who's provided just the right thing to celebrate the day (with Rose's help, of course. *grin*) This was truly delightful-- I've missed your stories! Author Reply: ((hugs)) Thank you so much for this lovely response. I am so grateful to still have you reading and reviewing! I love your perfect sum-up of the story too. I have missed Hobbits lately and have just taken to reading LotR again so I'm definitely hoping to catch up on stories I've missed and maybe finish off some of the other fics that got abandoned. Thank you again so much for your support!!

Ah. March 25, and Frodo has the one gift he needs in Elanor. Yes, she is perfect! And it is TOO bad most Hobbits didn't care to know what really happened. Author Reply: Yes it is! Thank you so much, as ever, for reading and for your comments. :D
