Very sad, and terrifying indeed the vision of his future! No wonder Erestor feels overwhelmed--but not too overwhelmed to try to ease Ereinion's distress! Author Reply: Indeed. Well, I still cringe when I reread the vision part - and to think that I am the writer of that! *blush* Oh well. I suppose Erestor's ability to soothe Ereinion was due to a sense of duty. Who knows that this ellon had it in abundance? :) It would be worse, anyway, if Erestor did not react in time. Fingon's subsequent action might not be favourable... Thanks for reading and reviewing, Larner! :) - Rey

Hello! The chapter was great, loved it. :) While it might have been a little confusing when Fingon suddenly embraced Erestor like that, it was brilliantly executed as you moved into the 'vision' and into the main idea. The chapter was well organized, and the word choice portrayed the depth of everything perfectly. The way that Fingon views Erestor was tender and well written - fluff abounding, it was like hugging a fuzzy teddy bear at that point, and again at the end with Erestor and Erin! :3 While Erestor may be the 'substitution', I hope that Fingon will still mainly focus his attention on his son, to soak up everything he can before his death. Awesome job and I can't wait for more! Take care, MP Author Reply: Thank you very much! (Wow. A long review! O_O :D) I am glad I did not blunder in this chapter... It is as if released from an annoying itch. Thanks. :) Ah... Fluff... I can never be rid of it, it seems. :) My stories usually fportray friendly or familial relationships, and fluff abounds there. Happy that you view it as nice rather than bothersome. Unfortunately I like it too much to change my mind about it. :D Well, the two young ellyn came in a package, I think. I mean... Ereinion already latched to Erestor as though one to an older sibling, and it must not be easy separating them. But don't worry, I have planned some private moments between Fingon and Ereinion (seeing that he has had it with Erestor early in the story, as we have seen). I hope you will like it when it comes up (perhaps five chapters from now). For now, I am focusing on Erestor's relationship with Ereinion, because it will be vital later in the story, particularly after they have moved from Hithlum. Again, thank you for the review, and I hope you will like the next update as well. (Yes. Thanks for the speedy beta-reading. :)) - Rey
