Lovely. The modesty gown used to dry Drummer was a wonderful touch. And I liked peeking in on Eomer and a pregnant Lothiriel! Author Reply: Hi, Please excuse this one reply to all your lovely emails - but I have been away for the weekend and need to post my next chapter. I am glad you enjoyed. Amroth and Devoran are two of my favourites and I love writing about them. Thanks so much. LBJ

Loved the wedding ceremony a lot! The smaller number of guests had a more intimate feel--just perfect for Devoran. The newlyweds' little sunset frolic was very romantic as well. The best part was Drummer's pursuit--he is the title character after all. ;-) Looking forward to "Swansong". Author Reply: Drummer had to have a big part because I am very fond of dogs. Glad you enjoyed the story and thanks for reviewing. LBJ

Well, I caught up with the last several chapters, and will re-read the whole thing when I have some time... what a lovely, satisfying conclusion to Devoran's and Amrothos' tale! I have enjoyed this story immensely, LBJ.... not only the romantic parts, but also the awareness of how unpleasant events can have (sometimes delayed) serious emotional consequences. Amrothos and Devoran are interesting, well-drawn characters. I so like how independent and strong Devoran is, while enjoying her uncertainties, as well. Oh, and how could I neglect to mention Drummer? What a great dog, and a needed and welcome companion to Devoran. Though he made a nuisance of himself on their wedding night, didn't he? LOL! But I thought Amrothos found the absolutely perfect use for that hideous cover-all garment from Belecthor's(?) awful comportment book.... The only minor disappointment was that I was hoping you'd write about fat cousin Alhael being hauled up to stand accused in front of Elessar in Minas Tirith, to be humiliated in public. It would serve that treacherous piece of trash right! (Maybe you could do a one-off vignette? *big puppy eyes*) I look forward to seeing your next entry in the saga of your Dol Amroth (& Rohan) family.... Very nicely done, LBJ! And thank you for sharing your talent with us. - Barbara Author Reply: Thank you for all your reviews. Fat cousin Alhael being chastised by Aragorn - I will hope for some inspiration! LBJ
