| What a lovely story. I loved faramir's concern and protectiveness of Frodo.I have no head for heights! Author Reply: I suspect Faramir and Frodo both enjoyed one another, and that Faramir was glad to find Frodo had good memories of his brother. And both would have enjoyed that day atop the tower. | Lovely, Larner! It's good to see Faramir and Frodo enjoying time together after the war. And I think it was important for both of them to talk about Boromir and what happened. And Faramir's explanation about water splashing down from the upper landings left me grinning. Oh yes, I can see some people doing that, among them the sons of a certain Steward :D Author Reply: I like to think Frodo and Faramir were able to do some informal talking during the Hobbits' stay in Minas Tirith. | I'm glad that Frodo heard Boromir begging for forgiveness, which I'm sure he gave. He would know then that Boromir had repented. Good. Love the last sentence too. | I am glad that you have Frodo hearing Boromir's return to himself. It must have helped, just a little, to know that in taking IT and himself away from the Fellowship Boromir could remain strong and honourable. I do love Frodo/Faramir moments. Author Reply: I so hope Frodo realized that Boromir had indeed come back to himself and was appalled by what the Ring had had him do! And I, too, love Frodo/Faramir moments, when I can manage them! | |
