| This chapter almost makes the long wait for this story to finally meet it's conclusion. Although I haven't been leaving reviews I have been paying attention. Hi Niri, it has been far too long since I heard from you, but I digress. I too hope you do something about the possible paring of Legolas and the new discovered princess. Your amazing talent keeps growing, and I sense we are close to a wrap up of this wonderful story. | |

| I was so happy to see another chapter of this wonderful tale. I just loved the moment where Thranduil suddenly senses Legolas. The reunion was touching. Finally there's someone here that Legolas doesn't have to be strong in front of. | |

| Ahem... *taps microphone* Is this thing on? Oh, good. You already know how much I LOVE this chapter. The ending was perfect, I adored seeing Glóin riding behind Thranduil mirroring Legolas and Gimli, and the developments with Bard are very interesting. And you certainly know how I feel about Legolas/Durfinwen. *pokes your muse* However, comma, I do believe there is something very obviously left out of this. | I don't leave reviews as often as I ought to, but the thought of Gloin taking hold of Thranduil on a racing steed was just too delightful to let pass without letting you know how much I appreciated, and enjoyed, the shock and sheer audacity of such a senario. *snicker* :D | |

| At last! ;) While Legolas seems to be correct in his estimation of Bard's fear of Thranduil, it fortuitously seems that Bard himself (all unknowing) may have done Legolas and Tamin a favor here. He (and his Council) can scarcely complain about Tamin's actions re Renna given his command to torch Esgaroth. (Unless he/they have it in their head(s) that by sheer dint of her "royal personage" Renna is worth more than the town and people of Esgaroth put together - a loathsome concept which I hope Thranduil and Thorin promptly stomp on if it raises its head.) Poor Tamin! He has certainly lost innocence during the course of this (mis)adventure. He has also, however (as Legolas observes), become "a strong and tenacious young fellow", one with a great passion for justice (or, at least, a great passion to see Evil defeated and punished). His willingness to take the responsibility for Renna's death was very adult. He is going to make a fabulous knight - if he lives so long! Poor Legolas, too. He has had so much to deal with, and through it all has had to be strong and hold both himself and his little group together. (The burdens of leadership...) Once there were others to share the mundane responsibilities (food, shelter, etc.) and to deal with the sticky issues of war and justice, his griefs (at least, the grief over Bandobras) became like raging water bursting through the crack in the dam. Thankfully Thranduil is there to support and comfort him. (At the minimum, he can give him some respite - and hopefully keep Meivel away until Legolas can evenhandedly deal with him!) Now (joining the clamor) - what about Kaimelas?!!! | |

| I'll second the previuos review, your story has helped me in bad times, so I hopre that it helps ypu as well. I really love this story and loyally wait for an update. You can add me to the listof the people that want to marry Durfinwen and Legolas. So Maivel is there, but you are very cruek and didn't tell us Kaimelas fate. So I suppose that Ithilien elves are there too. Is Faramir there? Poor Tamin, he has become a man, I mean an elf. Thanks | |

| Oh, how I love this story. I don't even mind waiting for updates (much). It's just so good. I am sorry that whatever is going on in your life ... is. Hope it provides some cheer to know that when things are going badly at this end, your writing is one of the things that takes me away from it. Many thanks, always. | |
