| A most daunting journey to contemplate. Author Reply: Very true... Well, Erestor might have exagerated several things, but he was in the dark, after all, and people tend to assume things they do not know. Besides, the Feanorians were really notorious around there. This story is under a thorough revision. (Well, not a redo, no worries.) I will not post it here until it is finished, though. Hopefully I can update the next chapter here soon... It just needs some editting. Umm. Once again, I am sorry for the lateness in replying... I could not help it. Well, at least now I can reply you properly. | Great chapter. I like how close Erestor and Ereinion have become and Erestor's apprehension about the visit to Himring. I, for one, can't wait to meet the sons of Feanor and their home. And I am really sad that Fingon will leave soon enough. I hope to read more chapters soon. And congratulation on your graduation. Author Reply: I am really, really sorry for the very belated reply. The button vanished on me... for quite a long time. Rather devestating. But at least now it has appeared again... right when I am back on the site. Thanks for the congrats. I am relieved I am out of college now... but now I find out that the state of joblessness does not mean one is free of works to do, or that it is nice at all. LOL Fingon's disappearance cannot be helped... if I am to stay true to canon. If I could help it, I would like to keep Gondolin free of Morgoth's hands. But then it would make an AU story, and besides, I cannot deal with the ramifications from that one thing only. LOL Seems like you were more excited about the trip than Erestor... Fingon and Ereinion will get a chapter for themselves, although it is a just a filler. Well, but it will not be until 3 to 4 chapters from now... I am glad you enjoyed Erestor's brotherly relationship with Ereinion. It will not be so quick in the rewrite, but I am glad you seem to think this one is still reasonable... Well, I think so myself, but I am still left unsatisfied. The story is under rewrite, yes. (Well, more a thorough revision than a redo.) But I will not post the new one here until it is finished.
