| hey, at least they didn't have to run anywhere in this chapter... lol it would be cave! (even if it is a sorry excuse of one, Aragorn) not that i feel bad for the snake or anything, but to think of a knife in one's tongue, ow...and i thought biting my tongue was painful if only Aragorn had just stuck his sword down It's throat, i mean, how else are they going to kill it? hmmm... Author Reply: Right. They were able to get a little rest. I guess that little cave is better than nothing, and Aragorn didn't have much of a choice. Biting one's tongue is very painful, but I can't scare up much sympathy for that snake, considering all It's done to our guys. I know It's just doing what snake's do, but It doesn't have to be so relentless about it. Who says the snake will get killed? :o) | |

| It's a matter of time before they find a way to get past the snake and to their horses and safety--ane hopefully new supplies. But at least Legolas is capable of awakening and bantering--always a good sign. Author Reply: It may be a matter of time, but time is slowing down for them, at least in their minds, I'm sure. It seems that no matter the situation, they can't help the humor that often creeps into their conversations. | |
